PDC World Darts Championship

Arguably the biggest darts event on the calendar, the PDC World Championship takes place every December at Alexandra Palace in London. It attracts tens of thousands of fans in fancy dress, millions of TV viewers worldwide and is considered the most prestigious title in modern darts.

Premier League Darts

Premier League Darts is a touring weekly event that travels across major arenas in the UK and beyond. In 2026, it will visit Ireland, Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands. Only eight elite, invited players take part so players are eager to be chosen as it provides weekly exposure on TV and prize money each week.

Points accumulate over the months-long event, creating a league table that leads to a thrilling play-off night in London participated in by the top four players only. The prize money in 2025 totalled £1,000,000.

World Matchplay

Held annually in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, the World Matchplay is iconic for its no-set format and atmospheric arena. It has produced some of the most dramatic matches in darts history and winning it is a mark of real pedigree.

World Grand Prix

The World Grand Prix, held in Leicester in recent years, is famous for its unusual “double-in, double-out” format. This rule adds a huge element of pressure and creates upsets, making it one of the most unpredictable majors. Due to this restriction, a coveted nine-darter is even harder to get than usual.

UK Open

Known as the “FA Cup of Darts”, the UK Open features a random draw and a massive field of professional and amateur qualifiers. It is held in Minehead and is beloved because it’s all in the luck of the draw…

Players Championship Finals

Played in Butlin’s Minehead Resort, the Players Championship Finals is the end-of-season finale for those who have earned ranking points throughout the year. It rewards consistency and commitment, not just big TV stage wins.

Luke Humphries

Luke Humphries has emerged as one of the most consistent and dangerous players in recent years. With sublime scoring power and nerves of steel, he now sits in the elite tier and is regularly tipped for multiple major darts trophy titles.

Luke Littler

Luke Littler stunned the world as a teenage sensation, setting records and redefining expectations for young talent in darts. His meteoric rise is not just hype – he already has the composure and winning mentality of a seasoned champion. He is hugely popular with the younger generation.

Michael van Gerwen

This Dutchman is one of the biggest draws in UK darts and a household name across Britain. He is a multi-major winner, second only to Phil Taylor. ‘Mighty Mike’ was ranked world number one for seven seasons from 2014-2021 and is always a threat in any competition.

Beau Greaves

Beau is a three-time Women’s World Champion and can certainly hold her own when playing against the men. She has even been referred to as ‘The Female Luke Littler’, as both have taken the darts world by storm in the last couple of years.

Nathan Aspinall

The Stockport star has overcome injury and setbacks to return as a major winner. Aspinall is respected for his tenacity, strong finishing and his passion. He has quickly become a fan-favourite and a true fighter on stage.

Gerwyn Price

Known as ‘The Iceman’ or just ‘Gezzy’, this Welshman is a former world darts trophy champion. His infamous roar when things are going well is his trademark. Outside of darts, he owns his own fish and chip shop.
